Master Reset Instructions

Factory Data Reset is a tool used to remove everything that was imported, added or installed on the device. Keep in mind, when using this feature everything is deleted. Nothing stored on the Micro SD or the internal phone storage will be affected unless you choose to erase it as well.

Master reset from settings menu

  1. Turn off your device by holding the Power button for a short while.
  2. Afterwards press and hold the Volume Down button for about 2-3 seconds.
  3. While still holding this key press the Power Button for a short while and release keys.
  4. Then choose option Recovery by using to navigate Volume Down, and to confirm Volume Up.
  5. When you see an Android logo press and hold Volume Up for a while.
  6. While still holding the Volume Up button, press and release the Power button.
  7. Press Volume Down to choose “wipe data/factory reset“, and then push the Power button to confirm.
  8. Select “Yes–delete all user data“. Use Volume Down button to scroll and Power button to select.
  9. To restart the phone, select “reboot system now“.
  10. Success! The hard reset is done!

Master reset with hardware keys

  1. Turn on the phone by using the Power button.
  2. Afterwards go to Settings and then to Backup & reset.
  3. Tap Reset Phone.
  4. Choose Erase Everything if you are sure you want to clear all your data.
  5. Select OK to confirm the whole operation.
  6. Well done!
