Master Reset Instructions

These instructions will help you master reset your phone, if you are unable to master reset your phone or you have a device that does not run on operating system then continue on below

 Hard Reset Instructions for ZTE Avid Trio

If you are unable to access your phone and/or have forgot password to ZTE Avid Trio, hard resetting might be your only option. In order to Hard Reset , follow the instructions below. Remember there is no going back and your ZTE Avid Trio will reset back to default factory settings.

MAKE SURE ZTE Avid Trio IS CHARGED AND YOU DO NOT REMOVE BATTERY WHILE RESET IS TAKING PLACE ON YOUR ZTE Avid Trio

1. Turn off the ZTE Avid Trio

2. Remove & Reinsert the Battery of your ZTE Avid Trio (if Removable) Begin with the device turned off

3. First, press and hold just the Power key for 1-2 seconds, then quickly press and hold the Volume Up key as well.

 

4. Continue to hold both buttons until the Select Boot Mode screen displays.

5. Press Volume Up to cycle through the options and point to Recovery Mode.

6. Press Volume Down to select. If Volume Down doesn’t work by itself, press Volume Down and Volume Up together to select.

6. Let go of the keys when the Android System Recovery Screen Appears

7. Press and release the Volume Up and Power keys at the same time. Android system recovery will appear.

8. Using the Volume Down Button scroll to the Wipe data / Factory Reset option & press Power Button to select

9. Scroll Down to Yes – delete all user data to confirm

10. Once the data has been reset, use Power Button to select Reboot System Now.

ZTE Avid Trio is now hard reset and back to default factory settings. The phone is now ready to be passed on to a new owner.
