Master Reset Instructions
A master reset restores the original factory settings and may delete your personal data on the internal storage, such as downloaded content, ringtones, images, apps, and contacts. It does not delete data stored on the SIM card or SD card.
To perform a master reset, follow these steps:
1. First of all, make sure that your device is on.
2. Then from the home screen open Menu and choose Settings.
3. After that select Backup & Reset and tap Factory data reset.
4. Choose Reset phone and select erase everything to begin hard reset operation.
5. Well done! The hard reset has just been performed.
Hard Reset Instructions
A hard reset, also known as a factory reset or master reset, is the restoration of a device to the state it was in when it left the factory. All settings, applications and data added by the user are removed.
In order to perform a hard reset, follow these steps:
1. At first, turn the cell phone off.
2. Hold down the Volume Up + Power simultaneously for a couple of seconds.
3. You should see the Recovery Mode menu.
4. In order to choose "wipe data/factory reset" use the Volume Down to navigate and the Power button to confirm.
5. Select "Yes–delete all user data". Use Volume Down button to scroll and Power key to select.
6. To restart the phone, select "reboot system now".
7. Success! Your phone should begin the hard reset operation.
