Alcatel ONETOUCH FLING Hard Reset
Before you give your handset to repair shop or buy new handset, please try the following procedure to repair your device. First charge your battery more then 70%, backup your important data like phone-book, message, email, images and settings and in most cases take out SIM card and SD card. After doing hard reset not possible to recover your data, so online backup is always important. For all of your data, a backup should be done on a external device, hard drive, raid system media or SD card.
How to Hard Reset Alcatel ONETOUCH FLING
A master reset will result in the loss of all data stored on the device including 3rd party applications.
This type of reset should only be used as a last resort after all other troubleshooting steps have been exhausted. It is highly recommended that you complete a backup of the device information before proceeding with the steps in this tutorial.
- From the home screen, press the Center key.
- Scroll to Settings and press the Center key.
- Scroll to Reset/Delete and press the Center key.
- If prompted enter the Lock Code.
Note: The default lock code is the last four digits of the mobile telephone number assigned to the phone.
- To reset settings without deleting information, press the Center key with Reset Settings highlighted.
- To completely reset the handset, scroll to Reset Phone and press the Center key.
Note: Reset Phone will delete all information and files stored on the handset. Make sure to back up any important information before proceeding.
- Read the warning and press OK.
- The handset will completely reset.
