Master Reset Instructions
A master reset restores the original factory settings and may delete your personal data on the internal storage, such as downloaded content, ringtones, images, apps, and contacts. It does not delete data stored on the SIM card or SD card.
To perform a master reset, follow these steps:
1. From Idle mode, touch Menu ā Settings ā Phone (choose one of the following options):
2.Reset Phone, all settings are reset to factory defaults but User Data such as contacts, messages, pictures, videos, and
music is not deleted.
3. Restore Phone, all settings are reset to factory defaults. However, with the Restore Phone option, all user data is deleted.
4. At the Continue? Prompt: touch Yes to reset, or No to cancel.
5. Enter your phone password, if prompted and touch Confirm.
6. After the phone settings have been reset, the Reset Phone done confirmation displays.
Hard Reset Instructions
A hard reset, also known as a factory reset or master reset, is the restoration of a device to the state it was in when it left the factory. All settings, applications and data added by the user are removed.
In order to perform a hard reset, follow these steps:
1. Switch device on.
2. Use code *2767*3855# in dial area.
3. Device will restart itself.
